01Who we are

This website is run by Oz Digital Ltd ("Oz Digital", "we", "us"), a web design and digital marketing agency based in Banstead, Surrey. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

02What we collect

Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name and anything you tell us in a message, enquiry form, email or phone call.
Project information: content, images, logins and other material you share with us so we can deliver work for you.
Newsletter details: your email address if you sign up to our newsletter.
Website usage: information such as pages visited, device, browser and approximate location, collected through cookies where you have agreed to them. See our cookie policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive (special category) data, and our website is not aimed at children.

04Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

Website hosting, email and cloud storage providers.
Accounting and invoicing software, and our accountant.
Analytics and newsletter tools, where you have agreed to them.
Specialist partners working on your project, such as our print partner Rider Press, only with your knowledge.
Professional advisers, regulators or the police where the law requires it.

Some providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years.
Client and project records: for the length of our relationship plus 6 years, for tax and legal reasons.
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Website analytics: in line with the retention settings described in our cookie policy.

06How we keep it safe

We use secure, reputable systems, strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and we limit access to people who need it. Website logins you share with us are stored securely and removed when no longer needed.

07Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
Ask us to delete your data, where we no longer need it.
Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data.
Ask us to transfer your data to another organisation.
Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email tim@ozdigital.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is usually no charge.

08Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please talk to us first and we will do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
